Threads 4 Thoughts t-shirts are wonderfully comfy t-shirts. I love them! So soft & do not shrink up. Bought my first one a couple of years ago, of all places, Whole Foods! I know sounds weird, in there shopping & saw a whole bin full of these Threads 4 Thoughts t's, so I bought the little Valorie v-neck! Loved it so much, found the cute Sadie scoop neck & bought it! They are so cheap, the little Valorie is 12 bucks & Sadie 15 bucks. As you can tell they are not tight baby doll fitting, they are just comfy fitting.

Threads 4 Thoughts has such a great story- the cute high school sweethearts decided their senior year of high school they wanted to make a positive difference in the world. They began creating graphic t-shirts that they were inspired by & issues they deeply care about. Now about 13 years later, here they still are making t's using sustainable materials.They work closely with 2 charities- International Rescue Committee (IRC) and the National Resources Defense Council (NRDC).

Their basic t-shirts are 60% organic cotton & 40% Recycled polyester. When i first read that, I thought "what on earth is recycled polyester", did they somehow transform those old leisure suits and make t's out of them! But, it's amazing to me they take those tons of millions of plastic bottles, sort them by color, crush them, melt them down & turn it into yarn, then the yarn is knitted into a finished fabric! Amazing! These t's are so environmentally friendly!

Peter Pilotto for Target

Feb. 9 the Peter Pilotto spring womenswear collection will land in Target stores! The Peter Pilotto label is the brainchild of two London based designers- Peter Pilotto & Christopher De Vos. Peter focuses on the textiles and these crazy prints. De Vos is all about the silhouette and the drape of the garment. Peter Pilotto for Target will feature about 70 pieces of their womenswear, accessories, and swimwear. They've done a terrific job in keeping their price points so affordable - $14.99 - $79.99. An assortment of Peter Pilotto clothing will be available on net-a-porter.com, a premier luxury online retailer that reaches international audiences.

Peter Pilotto's spring collection color palette are greens, blues, reds, and oranges. They have some really vibrant digital prints that are bursting with floral patterns. Pretty cray-cray, but pretty fun! They are hoping to reach a big audience from 15 yr old girls - 75 yr. old women! This chick has never tried on or wore any Peter Pilotto clothing, but excited to try. Their fit is suppose to be amazing. They understand a woman's body, and drape things where we need them draped, and make the silhouette to flatter our body! Some celebs are Peter Pilotto followers- Kate Bosworth, Miranda Kerr, Sienna Miller, Kristen Stewart, Kerry Washington, and Emma Watson.

Zgallerie

If you are familiar with Zgallerie, you can understand this chick's obsession with it. If you're not familiar with them you truly need to check them out. Zgallerie has an interesting story behind the chain's success. 3 siblings started a poster shop in CA in 1979, and did the framing in their parents garage. Now they have 57 locations & an online store! Zgallerie is a combination of stylish, traditional and contemporary designs. They have lots & lots for your home - art, home decor, unique florals, furniture, and more. If you have never been into one of their stores - you need to, it gets your inspiration flowing- great displays, love their eclectic mixture with a little modern twist. As you can see from the pics their traditional mixed with pops of metallic & contemporary designs. This chick gets so inspired just walking into Zgallerie! Zgallerie has really unique pieces of furniture. The pic on the left is their great Sequoia Console table. This gold leafed (also comes in silver) console table brings a natural looking element into your home. Keyword is "looking" because it is molded resin, but still very cool. It's very similar to the Phillips Collection, a high end global/contemporary furniture company.

Decorating with metallic accessories are so popular and is a great way to bring just a little touch of luxe into your home. If you are thinking you have a room that just seems a little boring, pop a metallic accessory piece into that room & see what a difference it makes. The warm metallic colors like gold & bronze are great this season and can be used in almost any decorating styles.Silver metallic is still popular. This chick found these great jute-metallic placemats (pic above on left) at TJ Maxx. This chick has a confession "I am a Maxinesta"- Love TJ Maxx and their Home Goods stores. Great finds & great prices!! Love these placemats- the jute brings in the natural look, and the silver metallic zig zag designs brings in that pop of luxe that I was wanting in my little kitchen eating area. The set of 4 were $19.95- great price, right? Love the look it brings my reclaimed wood kitchen table- added with the bronze & black pedestal vase gives this little kitchen area the pop it so needed. So just remember decorating with metallics are not just for holiday decorating, it's here, it's now, and for almost any decor.

This chick made another stop by Tuesday Morning yesterday (forgetting about the whole Spode dish mission) looking for some home accents to update one of my bedrooms. While walking through the accent pillow aisle, something caught my eye. What in the world- Radiant Orchid accent pillows! Yes, Radiant Orchid the big buzz, Pantones 2014 color of the year. Radiant Orchid, just as the flower has nice hues of fuchsia, purple with some pink undertones. Such an intriguing color of purple. Bring this happy color into your home with some fun accent pillows(like the pic above) or some fun little accessories. If you really want to make a statement with Radiant Orchid - paint a cool piece of furniture( like a chair, accent table, or little cabinet)- how fun would that be? This chick stopped by Tuesday Morning today, checking out their leftover Spode christmas dishes in hopes to find some marked way down. But, no Spode, but did find these great Core Bamboo bowls. This chick knows how random Tuesday Morning can be, one day you see something there, then it's gone or you might not go for 3 months & that thing is still sitting there! Anyway, these wonderful Core Bowls were there and I couldn't resist. The prices were right $14.99 & up! Bought the natural one, this chick just thought she needed it for serving Caesars salad in, and bought the cute yellow one (think they call that color banana) just to sit on my table with fruit in it. Did a little research and found out why bamboo is popular. It grows faster than wood and is 100% renewable resource- doesn't need to be replanted. Georgetown Winery

Where else but Texas can you find Jalapeño Wine??? Georgetown Winery is a local Texas winery that makes all kinds of wines. They do make your Chardonnay and Cabs, but they make some novelty  wines. If you are in to sweet wines, they make several, even one called the Funky Monkey! They also make some dessert wines, several kinds of Port wines; their Raspberry Port wine sounds delish! This chick loves her olive oil & balsamic vinegar. Heart of Texas Oil Co. has 30 flavored oils & flavored balsamic vinegars. Some of their flavored oils are Italian Herb, Garlic Parm, Chipotole, and a Habanero oil. So good to eat with bread or drizzle over your veggies. They also have yummy flavors of balsamic vinegar like Fig, Raspberry, Peach, and a Spicy Mango. How good does that sound? This chick loves just drizzling balsamic vinegar over salad ! Holiday red lipstick

The holidays are here and every girl needs a great red lipstick to look sexy at all her fabulous holiday festivities! So another thing on this chick's checklist was to find the perfect red lipstick! Red lipstick is so hard, either they are too pink, too orange, or too plum! Tell you what girls, this chick found a very inexpensive great red lipstick at +Walgreens, perfect color, perfect price! Maybelline's New Vivids Colorsensational "On Fire Red." Seemed to feather a little, so I used it with Maybelline's Colorsensational lip liner #50, and it was fine. Now, I am not promoting this lipstick as an all day day color stay type of lipstick , because you might have to reapply. But, this chick still had the lipstick on after a few glasses of wine and a couple of appetizers! This chick loves Maybelline's "On Fire Red" lipstick!

 MAC has a red lipstick "RiRi Woo". Beautiful retro red color,  but it is a matte finish. Stayed on a long time, but does feel heavy and dry. My lips did feel dry after wearing it a while.



Nespresso Machine

Need a gift for those coffee lovers out there? The Nespresso machine is awesome! Nespresso has several

different machines. I have the "U" machine, which I Love! So easy to make a cup of espresso, just place your capsule (it's like a miniature k-cup) in the machine, press a button, wait a few seconds and "viva" a nice little cup of espresso! Even though the "U" machine does not have a milk frother, there is a little crema on top of espresso when it is brewed. My friend has the Lattissima Plus, she love loves it because she can make her perfect latte's and cappucino's! The Nespresso machine will bring out the barista in you! A foodies dream! Eataly is AMAZING! Started in Italy & only 2 USA locations- NYC & Chicago. This building is a huge 2 story shop of Italian fare. Fresh pastas being made, breads, wines, olive oil, cheeses of all kinds, way too much goodness to list. Huge vats of fresh mozzarella being made, huge wheels of reggiano Parmesan cheese an espresso bar, a gelato area, a wine bar, a piazza of all kinds of eataries! Best way to shop, you can oner a glass of wine and walk around and sip on your wine while you shop and sample cheeses, salami's, and gelato! This chicks ideal of shopping!
